For backlink research, evaluate tools with their own link databases, such as Ahrefs or Semrush. For your own Google impressions and clicks, start with Search Console. Write down the capability you cannot lose
Before comparing subscription prices, list the work you do each month. Include tracked locations and devices, backlink exports, projects, crawl limits, seats and reporting requirements. An inexpensive product that omits a required workflow is not a cheaper replacement.
